Trusted Network Access and Protection

The trusted network access and protection technology segment includes solutions and services that protect internal network resources through use of policy enforcement and threat protection. Virtual private networks (VPNs) and zero trust network access (ZTNA) provide secure access to internal applications and systems for users outside of the network perimeter. Segmentation — network access control (NAC) and micro segmentation tools — provides granular access control and segmentation for users, devices, and applications that are operating primarily within the network perimeter. Firewall/unified threat management (UTM) and the intrusion detection system/intrusion prevention system (IDS/IPS) provide policy enforcement and protection spanning both internal and external use cases.
