“Some examples of IoT services include connecting already existing IoT or other
devices such as SCADA systems to the engineering network and/or the enterprise IT network, analyze the data generated and provide business or technology guidance to their customer, enable onboarding of these sensors/devices, and monitor and manage sensors/devices on an ongoing basis.

In addition, some use cases include predictive maintenance based on data from condition
monitoring of machines; smart meters that measure utility consumption and provide analysis or alerts; asset tracking, for example, fleet (trucks) tracking and routing; and creating digital twins to understand how the product or system is performing or how it will be impacted by its environment.”
